From all applications received, the 10 most promising ideas will be shortlisted to present live at GERICON 2026.
Each shortlisted participant will get 5 minutes to present their innovation before a distinguished jury and the GERICON audience.
The winning idea will be selected by the jury based on predefined evaluation criteria and will receive the GERICON Innovators Showcase Award.

Compete for the Innovators Showcase Award and gain recognition for an idea with the potential to shape the future of ageing.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- All applications will undergo a competitive review process.
- Only 10 ideas will be shortlisted for live presentation at GERICON 2026.
- Shortlisted applicants who are selected in the first round will be required to complete their GERICON 2026 conference registration by paying the applicable registration fee.
- Only after completing registration will they be eligible to proceed to the second round—the live Innovators Showcase presentation
- Each selected participant will have 5 minutes to present their innovation.
- Further instructions regarding presentation format, audiovisual requirements and submission of presentation material will be provided to shortlisted participants.
- Selected innovators will have the opportunity to interact with GERICON faculty and delegates over dinner, providing an informal setting to exchange ideas, receive feedback and build professional connections.
