Who should choose the Faculty/Delegate registration category?
Consultants, Geriatricians, Physicians, specialists, general practitioners, faculty members, and medical doctors attending the 'full conference' should register under this category.
Who should register under the Allied Health category?
The Allied Health Full Conference category is meant for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Medical Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists, Dietitians, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, and other allied health professionals attending the entire conference.
If you are attending only the one-day CME, please register under the relevant Allied Health – One Day CME category.
Is it mandatory to provide an IAG Membership Number?
Yes. All delegates registering under the IAG Member category must provide their original valid IAG Membership Number. If you do not provide a valid number your registration may be cancelled or shifted to the Non-IAG category with additional payment applicable.
What does full conference registration include?
Full conference registration includes:
Scientific sessions
Delegate kit
Meals at the conference venue
Networking & cultural events
Houseboat Grand Finale Cruise (unless opted out)
Can I bring accompanying family members?
Yes. Delegates / Faculty registering for the full conference may register accompanying persons separately. All accompanying guests above 5 years of age must be registered mandatorily.
Registered accompanying persons receive:
Conference venue meals
Access to social events
Complimentary Houseboat Cruise participation
My spouse and I are both attending GERICON 2026 as faculty/delegates. Can one of us register as an accompanying person?
No.
If both spouses wish to attend the scientific sessions, present papers, serve as faculty, or participate in the academic programme, each person must complete an individual Full Conference Registration under the appropriate delegate category.
The Accompanying Person registration is intended only for family members who are not participating in the scientific programme.
Accompanying persons are eligible to attend the designated social and networking events included in their package but do not receive access to the scientific sessions, conference halls, CME programme, exhibition areas (where applicable), conference materials, or delegate certification.
If both husband and wife are attending GERICON 2026 as delegates or faculty members, each must complete an individual Full Conference Registration. To share accommodation, both should opt for the Residential Package – Twin Sharing and inform the Registration Secretariat that they wish to be accommodated together. This enables both delegates to receive their individual conference credentials, accommodation benefits, and breakfast entitlement.
What are the available Residential Accommodation Packages and what do they include?
We are happy to offer limited rooms at the Main Conference Venue – IMA House, Cochin for Early Bird Delegates.

Duration: 4 Nights (November 18th – 21st)
Standard Single Occupancy Package Rate: ₹16,000 + 5% GST
Twin Sharing Basis: ₹8,500 per head + 5% GST
Includes :Stay at the conference venue + Breakfast
Check-in: 2:00 PM, 18th November
Check-out: 12:00 PM, 22nd November
GST applicable at 5%
Pickup and drop facilities are not included
Early check-in is subject to room availability
Delegates wishing to stay with accompanying guests at IMA House must select the:
"Single Occupancy Accommodation Package /Junior Suite Room"
This allows accommodation for:
Delegate + One accompanying adult
Up to two children maximum (additional matress if required can be provided at an extra cost)
⚠️ All accompanying guests above 5 years of age must be registered separately.
What is the difference between Full Conference Registration and One Day CME Registration for allied health?
Full Conference Registration provides access to the entire conference and all associated benefits, including the opportunity to present papers and abstracts.
One Day CME Registration is restricted only to attendance on the selected CME day. This is only applicable for Nurses, Physiotherapists, and other allied health specialists who wish to attend only the single day CME applicable to their specialty and not to the entire GERICON 2026.
Nurses, Physiotherapists, and other allied health specialists registered as delegates or faculty for the full conference may attend the specialty-specific CME sessions without any extra charges. However, prior intimation to the Conference Secretariat is mandatory to include your names in the relevant groups.
I am submitting a poster. Is conference registration mandatory?
Yes.
All presenting authors (poster or oral presentations) must complete Full Conference Registration.
One Day CME registration alone does not make you eligible to present a poster.
Is accommodation available for PG/ Jr Resident delegates?
Yes. Twin-sharing accommodation is available at the Regional Sports Center near the conference venue at special rates on first come first serve basis.
Accommodation for PG residents (pursing PG course in any subject in INDIA) is available on a twin-sharing basis.

Who is eligible to register under the Undergraduate (UG Student) category?
The Undergraduate (UG Student) category is available only to delegates who are:
- Currently pursuing an MBBS course, or
- Currently working as an MBBS Intern (Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship).
Both IAG Student Chapter Members and Non-IAG Student delegates are welcome to register under their respective student categories.
To complete registration, delegates must upload either:
- A valid institutional identity card or
- A letter/certificate from the Head of the Institution (Dean/Principal/HOD) confirming their current student or internship status.
I have completed MBBS & Internship, but am currently a Junior Resident. Can I register as a UG student?
No.
Doctors who have completed their MBBS degree and are no longer undergraduate students or interns are not eligible for the Undergraduate (UG Student) category.
They should register under the Post-MBBS Junior Resident category (or the appropriate PG category, if applicable).
Post-MBBS Junior Residents (non PG students) with less than 3 years after completing MBBS may also register under the Resident category.
This is applicable for those working in:
Departments of Geriatric Medicine / General Medicine/ Family Medicine
Outreach or Rural Health Clinics
NRHM / Vayomithram Doctors
Palliative Care Residents / Volunteers / Home Health Care Doctors
Previous members of IAG Student Chapter
Delegates registering under this category may be asked to upload or submit an official letter/certificate from their Head of Department or Institution confirming their current position and eligibility. All others may use the routine Delegate / Faculty registration.
Is accommodation available for undergraduate student delegates?
Yes. Limited complimentary accommodation seats are available for undergraduate delegates (MBBS Students) on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference would be given to the IAG Student Chapter Members
Is the Houseboat Cruise included for undergraduate student delegates?
No. The Houseboat Grand Finale is not included by default for undergraduate categories.
Students who wish to participate must opt in separately during registration.
