Call for Abstracts
GERICON 2026 invites researchers, clinicians, academicians, trainees, and healthcare professionals to share their work and contribute to the advancement of geriatric medicine and healthy ageing. This is an opportunity to showcase innovative research, clinical experiences, quality improvement initiatives, and best practices that can shape the future of care for older adults.
Selected abstracts will be presented before a national audience of experts, practitioners, and policymakers, providing valuable opportunities for academic recognition, networking, and collaboration. Further, the selected abstracts would also be published in the conference edition of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics. We encourage submissions from all disciplines involved in the care and well-being of older persons.
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES
GERICON 2026 welcomes abstracts across a range of scholarly and clinical formats. Authors may choose the category that best reflects their work, whether it is original research, an instructive clinical case, a series of patient experiences, or a quality improvement initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.
Original Research
Present novel scientific findings from observational, experimental, qualitative, or mixed-methods research studies.
Case Series
Describe a group of patients with similar clinical features, interventions, or outcomes to highlight emerging patterns and experiences.
Case Study
Share unique, rare, or educational clinical cases that offer important learning points and practical insights.

Showcase quality improvement projects that evaluate clinical practice against standards and demonstrate measurable improvements in care.

03. Submit Through the Portal
Review your entries, and submit your abstract through the online portal. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission.
